Annual General Meetings

31 March is fast approaching. You will need to begin to prepare and complete your year end accounts and prepare for your AGM.

Please refer to the AGM guidance on the admin website at www.sccheadquarters.com for all the upto date information on how to prepare and run your meeting.

Unit Management Team - Assessment

As you are aware all UMTs are assessed as part of the Authority to Train. In 2012 if any of the mandatory items are not completed then you may not receive a Pennant or Burgee, even if everything else says your Unit should.

Therefore please ensure that you:-

Complete your return of adult members involved in the unit when requested to do so (much of it is already completed for you)

Complete your Charity Commission Return (including accounts if required)

Send us your accounts

Send us your minutes

And ensure we know when your AGM is

The deadline for submission of these returns was 31 October 2011, if you complete these simple tasks then your Units effieciency award would not be withheld due to any UMT issue.
