hereWith 45 Units, 2 boat stations and a small training centre all located around London and Essex, there will always be an opportunity for any interested adult to volunteer their services.
The Sea Cadets aim to inspire young people to reach their potential by developing valuable personal attributes like team work, independence and communication skills through nautical based adventurous activity.
You can help us to help them build confidence in their own abilities as they learn to work as part of a team.
Our units are run entirely by volunteers, and across the UK 9,000 adults from a huge variety of backgrounds support cadets in a wide spectrum of activities. Volunteering can be hugely rewarding, and the majority of our units are are always looking for people whose experience, skills or just simple enthusiasm can benefit the charity.
There are many roles which match the varied skills that you may have, from teaching cadets to administration and fund raising and we can offer training to help you to contribute.
