Cadet and Adult Training throughout London Area is managed and coordinated by the Area Training Officer (ATO), Lt Cdr (SCC) Barry Sickelmore RNR. The ATO has responsibility over the Area Staff Officers who are the leads and main points of contact for their individual subjects.

London Area has money available to assist with a variety of courses, including Offshore, Inshore Afloat and Summer Camp. Units can apply for financial assistance even if courses have already been paid for, where individuals have struggled to find fees.
