Disclosures

All adult volunteers within the SCC are required to undergo a disclosure through Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) (England, Wales, Channel Islands & Isle of Man), CRBS (Scotland) and Access NI (Northern Ireland). This applies to everybody who has regular access to cadets but also applies to charity trustees (UMC members) in their role as trustees of a children's charity.

Applications are adminstered through MSSCHQ (England, Wales, Channel Islands and Isle of Man) and Northern Area Office (Scotland & Northern Ireland) and you will find information on the disclosure procedures for each area of the UK in this section.

Identification Checking Process

This provides the CRB guidance on what documents are needed and how they should be checked and what to look for.  It supports the actions required for those appropriate persons who are checking documents at Stage 2 of the e-CRB process (see under P Forms section).
