Engineering

Marine Engineering covers both mechanical and electrical topics; it is very much a "hands on" specialisation that enables cadets to get first hand experience on working on motor boats in the Units.  Training and Qualification is gained on this course:

Class 3 - Basic operational skills in either mechanical or electrical
Class 2 -  Advanced essential practical and knowledge based skills
Class 1 - More detailed knowledge that can lead to a  - BTEC First Diploma in Engineering (Maintenance) once the Class 1 course is completed.
