Disclosure Scotland

The Charity Trustees and Investments (Scotland) act 2005 requires that Management Trustees are processed through the Scottish Disclosure system. As registered charities the UMC Chairman is the senior Management Trustee. Therefore it is the Chairman’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the UMC have been checked.

In Scotland District Officers are registered counter signatories and they are required by law to check the identification of a person before they countersign the forms.
