Donations received from individuals to Sea Cadet Units may be eligible for Gift Aid, provided the Donors are UK taxpayers and they complete a Gift Aid Declaration.  This means that for every £1 donated, an additional 25p (from 1 April 2008) may be claimed through Gift Aid.
