Following the refinement of the Sea Cadet Experience (SCE), only courses listed on the course catalogue are supported. Updates and changes will be communicated through a Learning Notice from time to time. Please note that Course Directors must apply the daily rates from Allowances Expenses and Contributions (AEC) based on the delivery level, including the £8  per night charge for overnight accommodation. Additionally, the Course Materials costs listed in Annex C of AEC must also be applied.

Events Calendar 

We recently changed all events to run as courses in Westminster. In general, this has given parents/carers a single consistent process to follow. However, we have listened to your feedback, and acknowledge that for specific volunteer-related activities running these as courses are proving challenging due to the lack of Westminster calendar functionality.

Therefore, some categories and sub-categories will shortly be available to you to create as events in Westminster for adult-activities only. Here is a list of the available event sub categories.

Please note:
1) You can only create events when the attendees are adults. All cadet activities must be made in Westminster as a course, so that consent and contribution can be processed through our cadet portal.
2) The above categories will continue to be available to create as a course, as well as now also an event. Should you need to claim expenses then ensure you do so via Unifi by selecting the appropriate Sub-activity from the Training Type column.
