The Sea Cadets Portal – a cadets journey. CFAVs only.
The activities pages is an area on the Sea Cadets Portal that shows over 175 courses that the Sea Cadets Corps currently offer to its cadets. It is full of information and contains colourful and informative pages that offer more detail about the specialised subjects on offer, including progression guidance through pathway suggestions and an insight to careers related to the specialised trade. Here Expressions of Interest can be given by cadets and sent to the unit in a weekly round up email, where Admin/Training Officers can start the process to book a cadet on course.

What do you need to do next in your role as an Admin/Training Officer.
What the NOK does next to approve and pay for the course.

The Sea Cadets portal empowers cadets and gives them more information enabling them to engage more closely with the amazing opportunities that we offer. The information that is available to view in the Sea Cadets Portal comes from the data inputted in the Westminster. Let’s make sure cadets, CFAVs and NOK can access the platform smoothly and cadets can see their experience that have been gained both at unit level and beyond.

The Sea Cadets & Volunteer Portal - Tips for Course Directors, inc creating a post. CFAVs only.
The information that Course Directors include in their course set up when creating their courses in Westminster can follow through and show in the Sea Cadets Portal and Volunteer Portal and can be of great benefit to the students on course. It will support the CFAV who views course details through the volunteer portal to make sure they are following the correct pathway of modules required to advance through promotion or develop in subject. It can also assist in unit saving time and money providing support material for the student pre course.

Discussions around attachments.
Adding modules for sign off on completion and their importance in relation to the Volunteer Portal
What the Cadet, CFAV and NOK will see following your input.

Creating a post, your audience and using the post function to send messages to your attendees.
